Which Pick 3 & Pick 4 Tool Do You Need?
Each Pick 3 and Pick 4 tool answers one question: the number checker shows whether your digits won, the live board shows the latest draws, and the calculators, expiration checker and number history cover prizes, tax, deadlines and past draws.
| Your question | Tool | You enter | You get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Did my numbers win? | Number checker | state game, your digits, date range (latest draw up to one year), draw, match types | every matching draw with its match type – exact order, any order or pairs – and add-on matches listed separately |
| What was just drawn? | Live draw results board | nothing | a countdown to each draw in ET, the draw status and the checked numbers |
| Has my number been drawn before? | Number history | state game, your digits | times drawn in exact order and in any order, the last drawn date and the first date in our records |
| What does my bet cost and pay? | Payout calculator | state game, your digits, play type, wager, add-on | ticket cost, number of ways, the prize for each winning outcome, the odds and the average return |
| How much tax comes off my prize? | Lottery tax calculator | prize, wager, state where bought, state where you live, optional federal bracket and New York City or Yonkers | Form W-2G status, federal and state withholding, an estimated take-home and every state side by side |
| Has my ticket expired? | Ticket expiration checker | state, draw date | the last day to claim, the days left and the ticket's claim status |
The number checker works for a single draw or a whole range, so a multi-draw ticket is checked in one search. The payout calculator and the tax calculator work as a pair: the first shows what a play pays before tax, the second shows what you keep after tax. The expiration checker answers a different question from both – whether a winning ticket can still be cashed at all.
How Do ThreeFour's Pick 3 & Pick 4 Tools Get Their Numbers?
Every ThreeFour Pick 3 and Pick 4 tool reads the same checked data: winning numbers compiled from each state lottery's public results, prize and claim rules from each lottery's published game rules, and IRS and state tax rules.
- Results: each draw is captured after the state lottery publishes it and is checked before any tool uses it. Every result shows the time it was checked.
- Rules: prize tables, add-on prizes and claim deadlines come from each lottery's published game rules. Add-on prizes appear only where a state publishes its own figures; no value is copied from another state.
- Tax: federal rules follow the IRS Form W-2G instructions for 2026. A Form W-2G is issued when winnings minus the wager reach $2,000 and at least 300 times the wager. Federal withholding of 24% applies when winnings minus the wager exceed $5,000. State rates come from each state's revenue department or lottery.
Pari-mutuel games pay prizes that change with each draw's sales and winners. California Daily 3 and Daily 4, New Mexico Pick 3 Plus and Pick 4 Plus and the Massachusetts Numbers Game work this way, so the calculators show "prize varies" for them. Every tool shows when its rules were last checked; read how we check results for the full process.
Which States Do the Pick 3 & Pick 4 Tools Cover?
ThreeFour's Pick 3 and Pick 4 tools cover the 43 US jurisdictions with daily-digit games. The payout calculator and the expiration checker cover all 43, and the tax calculator covers all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico.
The 43 jurisdictions are 41 states, DC and Puerto Rico. The number checker, the number history and the live board read ThreeFour's checked results for the launch states in the table. Every state's latest draws are listed on Pick 3 results by state. Every game in the table also has its full prize table in the payout calculator.

Pick 3 & Pick 4 Tools FAQ
Are ThreeFour's Pick 3 and Pick 4 tools free?
Yes. All six Pick 3 and Pick 4 tools are free, need no account and run in any phone or computer browser, with no app to install. ThreeFour is paid for by ads on the site, and it sells no tickets and takes no bets.
Can the number checker confirm that my ticket won?
No. The checker compares your digits with checked published results and shows any match and its prize, but only the state lottery confirms and pays a winning ticket. Always verify your numbers with your state lottery before claiming.
Where are my saved numbers kept?
My Numbers keeps up to 10 saved number sets in your own browser on this device, with no account. ThreeFour keeps no saved list on its servers, and clearing your browser data removes the list. Saved numbers are checked against the latest results when you open a results page.
Does the payout calculator include tax?
No. The Pick 3 & Pick 4 Payout Calculator shows what a play costs and what it pays before tax. The lottery tax calculator takes that prize and estimates federal and state withholding and what you keep.
Which tool shows how long I have to claim a prize?
The ticket expiration checker shows it. Enter the state and the draw date to check whether a ticket has expired, with the last day to claim and the days left. Pick 3 and Pick 4 claim periods run from 90 days to 1 year after the draw, depending on the state.
