South Carolina's page covers the state's daily-numbers games only. The lottery lists them as Pick 3 (Plus FIREBALL) and Pick 4 (Plus FIREBALL), and each card shows the latest Midday and Evening digits with their Fireball digit. Today's South Carolina results are four numbers from Monday to Saturday and two on Sunday, when only the Evening draw is held.
Each card keeps the previous draw, with its date, until the next result is checked. South Carolina runs no Pick 5: Pick 3 and Pick 4 are its only daily-digit games, so every SC daily number of the day appears on these two cards.
A $1 Straight play pays $500 on South Carolina Pick 3 and $5,000 on Pick 4. Plays cost $0.50 or $1. Fireball, added to both games on May 3, 2021, doubles the cost of a play and lets the Fireball digit replace one drawn digit.
The South Carolina Education Lottery is governed by the SC Education Lottery Commission and based in Columbia. Voters approved the lottery in November 2000, the General Assembly ratified the SC Education Lottery Act on June 7, 2001, and the first tickets were sold on January 7, 2002. Lottery proceeds fund college scholarships such as LIFE, HOPE and Palmetto Fellows, tuition grants and K-12 programs: $546.8 million in fiscal year 2025 and $8.9 billion since 2002.

How to Claim a South Carolina Lottery Prize
South Carolina Pick 3 and Pick 4 prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date, by a player 18 or older. Where you claim depends on the size of the prize.
$500 or less: any South Carolina Education Lottery retailer.
$501 to $100,000: SCEL headquarters at 1309 Assembly Street, Columbia, SC 29201 (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5 PM), or by mail.
Over $100,000: in person at headquarters in Columbia only.
By mail: SC Education Lottery, P.O. Box 11039, Columbia, SC 29211-1039, with the signed ticket, a completed claim form and a copy of your ID.
Claim form and ID: the South Carolina claim form, a copy of a government-issued ID and your Social Security number for tax reporting.
South Carolina's retailer limit is $500, lower than the $600 used in many states. A $500 Pick 3 Straight win on a $1 play is still paid by a retailer, while a $5,000 Pick 4 Straight win goes to headquarters or by mail. South Carolina lets lottery winners remain anonymous. Claim rules for other states are collected in our guide on how to claim a Pick 3 or Pick 4 prize.
Taxes on South Carolina Lottery Winnings
South Carolina withholds 7% state income tax from lottery prizes of $500 or more paid to individuals, under state law (Code section 12-8-530); corporations have 5% withheld.
For federal tax in 2026, a prize of $2,000 or more net of the stake that is at least 300 times the wager is reported on Form W-2G, and 24% is withheld once winnings minus the stake exceed $5,000. A $5,000 South Carolina Pick 4 Straight win on $1 therefore gets a W-2G and 7% state withholding, but no mandatory federal withholding on its $4,999 proceeds.
A $500 Pick 3 Straight win also reaches the $500 state withholding line, while it stays under every federal threshold and is still taxable income. Estimate the net amount of any South Carolina prize with the lottery tax calculator for Pick 3 and Pick 4 prizes.
