Results for the Midday draw are expected after 2:30 PM ET.
The New York State lottery numbers drawn every day are these two games' digits: three for Numbers and four for Win 4. Together the two cards hold every New York Pick 3 and Pick 4 result of the day, from the Midday draw to the Evening draw. Searches for the New York State "4 way" lottery lead to Win 4, the four-digit game on the second card.
New York has no game called Win 3, Cash 3, Play 3, Cash 4 or Play 4. Searches that use those names, or pair "Pick 3" with "Win 4", lead to the same two New York games: Numbers for three digits and Win 4 for four.
A $1 Straight play pays $500 when all three Numbers digits match in order and $5,000 when all four Win 4 digits match in order, according to published New York prize charts. New York has no add-on digit such as Fireball or Wild Ball, so each card shows the winning numbers only.
The New York Lottery is operated by the New York State Gaming Commission. Proceeds from the New York Lottery go to public education through Lottery Aid to Education, according to the lottery. ThreeFour's New York page covers the daily-numbers games only.

Each checker needs the numbers played, the draw (Midday or Evening) and the draw date printed on the ticket. A New York ticket wins only on the draws and dates printed on it.
New York Numbers and Win 4 are both drawn twice a day, seven days a week: Midday at 2:30 PM ET and Evening at 10:30 PM ET. Published schedules close ticket sales at 2:15 PM and 10:20 PM ET.

Because both games keep the same two draw times, a single Midday update and a single Evening update cover every New York daily-numbers result. New York sits in the Eastern Time zone, so 2:30 PM and 10:30 PM ET are local clock times for every New York player. The Midday sales window closes 15 minutes before the draw, and the Evening window closes 10 minutes before it.
New York Numbers and Win 4 prizes must be claimed within one year of the draw date. Players must be 18 or older, and where a prize is paid depends on its size, according to published claim guidance.
The New York Lottery claim form travels with the signed ticket on every mail claim. New York's claim centers are its seven Customer Service Centers, and each one pays prizes of any size. A $500 Numbers Straight win or a $400 Win 4 Box win can be cashed at a retailer, while a $5,000 Win 4 Straight win goes to a Customer Service Center or by mail. The one-year window runs from the draw date printed on the ticket, not from the day it was bought.

New York lottery winnings are taxable income in New York State, and New York City and Yonkers residents also owe local income tax on them. The New York Lottery withholds state tax on prizes whose proceeds exceed $5,000.
Federal rules for 2026 add a Form W-2G for wins of $2,000 or more that are at least 300 times the wager, and 24% federal withholding once winnings minus the wager exceed $5,000. A $1 Win 4 Straight win of $5,000 is therefore reported on a W-2G, but its $4,999 proceeds stay under both withholding lines. A $500 Numbers Straight win triggers neither the W-2G nor any withholding, yet it still counts as taxable income.
On prizes over $5,000, New York withholds state tax at 10.9%, plus 3.876% for New York City residents and about 1.477% for Yonkers residents. Federal and New York tax on any prize can be estimated with the lottery tax calculator.

New York's past winning numbers go back a long way. The state's own open-data file of Numbers and Win 4 winning numbers begins in 1980, according to the New York data catalogue. Each game page's 30-day table lists both daily draws with their dates, so a ticket from last week or last month is checked in one place.
