Florida Pick 3 pays $500 on a $1 Straight play, and Florida Pick 4 pays $5,000. Both games belong to the Florida Lottery, the state agency based in Tallahassee. Each card names the draw, its date, the winning digits, the Fireball digit and the time the result was checked.
Florida's daily-numbers games had different names before 2016. Pick 3 was sold as Cash 3 from 1988, and Pick 4 was sold as Play 4 from 1991. The Florida Lottery renamed both games on August 1, 2016. Today's Cash 3 and Play 4 numbers are therefore the Pick 3 and Pick 4 numbers in the cards above. Florida's four-digit game was Play 4, never Cash 4; Cash 4 is the Georgia Lottery's four-digit game.
These are Florida's winning lottery numbers for the daily-numbers games. This page covers Florida's daily-numbers games only.
Florida Pick 5 and Pick 2
Florida Pick 5 and Pick 2 follow the same schedule as Pick 3 and Pick 4: Midday at 1:30 PM ET and Evening at 9:45 PM ET, every day. A $1 Straight play pays $50,000 on Pick 5 and $50 on Pick 2. Fireball is offered on both games, as on Pick 3 and Pick 4.
Pick 5 and Pick 2 began on August 1, 2016, the same day Cash 3 and Play 4 took their new names. The cards on this page list Pick 3 and Pick 4. The Florida Lottery publishes Pick 5 and Pick 2 numbers on its own results pages after each draw, so today's Pick 5 or Pick 2 result sits next to the Pick 4 and Pick 3 numbers from the same 1:30 PM and 9:45 PM ET draws.

Check Your Florida Lottery Numbers
Every Florida game page has its own number checker that searches each Midday and Evening draw of the last 30, 90 or 365 days. Pick the game printed on your ticket.
A Cash 3 or Play 4 ticket bought before August 1, 2016 has long passed its claim period, so only Pick 3 and Pick 4 tickets need checking today.

The Florida lottery drawing times are the same for all four games, seven days a week. Florida Lottery rules for Pick 3 and Pick 5 describe a ball draw: one ball comes from each set of balls numbered 0 to 9, and the Fireball digit is drawn separately. The western Panhandle, west of the Apalachicola River, keeps Central Time, so the same draws happen at 12:30 PM and 8:45 PM CT there. The Evening draw moved from 7:57 PM to 9:45 PM ET on August 5, 2018.
How to Claim a Florida Lottery Prize
Florida Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5 and Pick 2 prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the draw date. Players must be 18 or older, and the prize amount decides where a ticket is cashed.
$599 or less – any Florida Lottery retailer pays the prize.
$600 to $249,999 – a Florida Lottery district office or the Tallahassee headquarters pays it. District offices are in Fort Myers, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando (Altamonte Springs), Pensacola, Tampa and West Palm Beach, open Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
$250,000 or more – Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee pays it, in person, through the drop box or by mail.
By mail – Claims Processing, Florida Lottery, 250 Marriott Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32399-9939. A mailed ticket travels at the player's risk.
For $600 and up, bring – a completed Winner Claim Form, a valid photo ID and the signed ticket.
The Florida Lottery claim form is the Winner Claim Form, published as a PDF on the Florida Lottery's website. A winner fills it in for any prize of $600 or more and hands it in, or mails it, with the signed ticket and a copy of the photo ID. Prizes of $599 or less need no claim form. Where to claim lottery winnings in Florida therefore depends on the amount: a retailer up to $599, a district office or headquarters from $600, and headquarters only from $250,000.
A $1 Florida Pick 4 Straight win of $5,000 is above the retailer limit, so it goes to a district office, headquarters or the mail. A $1 Pick 3 Straight win of $500 is paid at any retailer. Florida does not let lottery winners stay anonymous: name, city, game, date and amount are public on request. Since May 25, 2022, winners of $250,000 or more are kept from public disclosure for 90 days after claiming. The rules for other states are collected in how to claim a Pick 3 or Pick 4 prize.
Taxes on Florida Lottery Winnings
Florida Lottery prizes are taxed only at the federal level: 24% is withheld from prizes over $5,000 with a valid Social Security number, or 30% without one. Florida has no personal income tax, so it adds no state tax.
From January 1, 2026, the Florida Lottery issues Form W-2G for prizes of $2,000 or more. A $1 Florida Pick 4 Straight prize of $5,000 is reported on a W-2G but has no mandatory withholding, because withholding starts when the prize minus the wager is over $5,000. A $500 Pick 3 Straight prize stays under the W-2G line. Every lottery prize is still federal taxable income, reported on Form 1040 even without a W-2G. Estimate the federal tax on any Florida prize with the lottery tax calculator.
Past Florida Pick 3 & Pick 4 Results
Beyond today's Florida draws, many players look back at earlier Pick 3 and Pick 4 numbers or compare Florida with Georgia next door. Each Florida game page keeps a 30-day table of every Midday and Evening result.
The Florida Lottery also publishes full winning-number histories for Pick 3 and Pick 4 as PDF files, back to the Cash 3 and Play 4 years.
Florida Lottery FAQ
What time is the Florida lottery drawing?
Florida draws Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5 and Pick 2 twice every day: Midday at 1:30 PM ET and Evening at 9:45 PM ET, or 12:30 PM and 8:45 PM in the Central Time Panhandle. Follow both draws on our live board of Pick 3 and Pick 4 draws.

How long do you have to claim a Florida lottery prize?
Florida daily-numbers prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the draw date. A prize of $599 or less is paid at any retailer; larger prizes need a Winner Claim Form and photo ID. The Pick 3 & Pick 4 ticket expiration checker shows a ticket's last claim day.
How old do you have to be to play the Florida lottery?
You must be 18 or older to buy Florida Lottery tickets, Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5 and Pick 2 included. The same age applies to claiming a prize, whether at a retailer, a district office or the Tallahassee headquarters.
Are Florida lottery winnings taxed?
Yes, at the federal level only. The Florida Lottery withholds 24% federal tax from prizes over $5,000 (30% without a Social Security number) and issues a W-2G from $2,000 in 2026. Florida has no personal income tax, so no state tax is taken.
Are Cash 3 and Play 4 still Florida lottery games?
No. Florida renamed Cash 3 to Pick 3 and Play 4 to Pick 4 on August 1, 2016. The three-digit and four-digit games kept their Midday and Evening draws, so Cash 3 and Play 4 results now appear as Pick 3 and Pick 4 results.
